JRMC employees came together this year to raise over $36,000 through the annual Employee Giving Campaign. The funds raised go directly to the JRMC Foundation, which benefits the community through new equipment, staff training and patient comfort items.
Donations support cancer care, hospice, equipment and technology, infant loss and bereavement, Family BirthPlace, the Employee Support Fund, Kala’s Korner and the Greater JRMC Fund – the medical center’s greatest needs fund.
“The employees of JRMC are absolutely fantastic. This is my first year being a part of an employee giving event. I feel honored to witness their consideration and investment in JRMC,” said Foundation Director Tonya Perkins.
JRMC’s employee giving campaign allows employees to get involved with the medical center, build camaraderie and express gratitude for their coworkers. Employees voted on this year’s whimsical storybook theme, emphasizing scenes from Robin Hood, Rapunzel and other classic storybooks.
Employees expressed an outpouring of gratitude by giving over 500 “great!FUL grams” to recognize their colleagues. The campaign promotes a spirit of kindness and goodwill in the workplace. JRMC even had one employee write a great!FUL gram to every employee to ensure everyone felt appreciated and involved.
“When we all give a little, our community gains so much,” shared JRMC President & CEO Mike Delfs.
Through employee giving, JRMC reinvests back into the health of the community. JRMC is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the communities it serves. The funds raised through the campaign help ensure patients have the best experience and outcomes possible. The medical center is grateful for its employees’ generosity and dedication to serving the community.
