Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) recognized its volunteers as part of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, a nationwide observance that honors the contributions of individuals who dedicate their time to serving others.

To celebrate, JRMC hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on April 22, bringing together volunteers from across the organization to thank them for their continued service and commitment. The event recognized the important roles volunteers play in enhancing the JRMC experience for patients, families and staff alike.

As part of the week’s activities, JRMC also announced its 2025 volunteer award recipients:

  • Terry Locke was named Volunteer of the Year, an award voted on by JRMC staff.
  • Judy Hoyt received the Legendary Volunteer of the Year award, also selected by JRMC staff.
