The Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) Foundation was joined by over 50 community members on Tuesday, Dec. 16, for the 28th annual Tree of Love remembrance ceremony. The longstanding tradition invites individuals and families to honor and remember loved ones during the holiday season and provides a meaningful opportunity for reflection, connection and shared remembrance.

This year, approximately 300 personalized ornaments were placed on the Tree of Love, each representing someone held in memory. The heart-shaped glass ornaments, adorned with a bow and the name of a loved one, serve as a lasting keepsake for families and friends who participate in the tradition.
“Each year, Tree of Love brings our community together in a powerful way,” said Tonya Perkins, JRMC Foundation Director. “We value this tradition deeply and are thankful to the speakers and all who attended, making the evening one of reflection and community.”
Memorial ornaments purchased by individuals unable to attend the ceremony will be available for pick up through the end of the year.
The Tree of Love is an annual fundraising initiative of the JRMC Foundation, supporting programs and services that enhance patient care at the medical center.
