The community’s generosity shined on Giving Hearts Day, with donors raising $160,000 to support Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC). Every gift helps ensure that high-quality, compassionate care remains close to home for generations.
“Giving Hearts Day is a remarkable opportunity for our community to come together and invest in the future of healthcare,” said Tonya Perkins, JRMC foundation director. “The generosity of our community on Giving Hearts Day ensures that compassionate, high-quality care remains close to home. Thanks to our donors, we can continue impacting the lives of those we serve.”
As a non-profit, independent medical center, JRMC relies on donor support to fund essential projects, including patient care, equipment, staff education and local healthcare initiatives. This year’s contributions helped JRMC continue its mission of providing exceptional care to every patient, every time.
Since its inception in 2008, Giving Hearts Day has helped charities across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota raise more than $225 million. JRMC was one of 20 Jamestown non-profits participating in this year’s 24-hour giving event hosted by the Dakota Medical Foundation.
