The North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) requires student-athletes to receive a sports physical each year.

Sports physicals take 15-20 minutes and cost $45. Sports physicals include checks for blood pressure, pulse as well as vision, heart, lungs, abdomen, ears, nose and throat. The specialized JRMC Orthopedics team will also assess joints, strength, flexibility and posture. A sports physical does not include vaccines or a well-child visit.

Please note: Parents must sign and complete physical evaluation paperwork before the appointment.

In addition to sports physicals, JRMC’s orthopedic specialists offer same-day and next-day appointments for sports and other injuries as well as care for bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves.
