Journalists from The Los Angeles Times featured Team spent a day at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, observing a day in the life of the pandemic.
What they saw included animal bites, domestic abuse, abdominal pain as well as patients with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition to patients, the journalists viewed a legendary healthcare team that continues to exceed expectations and be THE difference in the lives of those they serve.

“Some days of reporting are indelible, and that Sunday will be one that I’ll always remember. It is similar in some ways to reporting that I’ve done on wars, in which people are called to meet tremendous challenges at great personal risk and sacrifice,” said Reporter Rich Read. “It’s inspiring to see up close what health workers are willing and able to do.”
