Jamestown Regional Medical Center celebrated National Hospital Week. The nationwide observation takes place each May and gives JRMC the extra chance to honor and thank employees who provide compassionate care to the residents of the region. With this year’s theme was “WE are Healthcare.” The celebration emphasized the importance of teamwork, partnership and community in delivering high-quality medical services.

As a leading healthcare provider, JRMC acknowledges that fulfilling its mission relies on the unique contributions of each staff member.

“Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide the best care for our patients and community,” said JRMC President & CEO Mike Delfs. “While we make a continuous effort to recognize their hard work, Hospital Week is an added opportunity to celebrate the outstanding individuals who make JRMC a special place.”

In recognition of Hospital Week, JRMC hosted special events for staff including games, complimentary meals, movie passes, gift distribution and the ever-popular bonus jeans day.

“The success of JRMC depends on our staff’s compassion, skill and teamwork,” said Lesley Erlandson, JRMC Human Resources Manager. “During Hospital Week and every week, we are grateful for their unwavering commitment to providing high quality, patient-centered care to our region.”
