Jamestown Regional Medical Center received recognition as a 2024 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by The Chartis Center for Rural Health for the 11th year in a row. Chartis’ annual Top 100 award program recognizes outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®.
In its 14th year, the INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. The INDEX is leveraged nationwide to measure and monitor performance across various areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
“We are honored to be among the nation’s top-performing Critical Access Hospitals,” said JRMC President and CEO, Mike Delfs. “This recognition reflects the dedication and commitment of our physicians, nurses and staff to provide the highest quality care to our community. Their efforts have allowed us to achieve and maintain this high level of performance over the past 11 years.”
Performance across eight pillars—Quality, Outcomes, Patient Perspective, Cost, Charge, Community Support, Market Share, and Financial Stability—is assessed to establish the INDEX scores and subsequent rankings. The data identifies top performers who demonstrate excellence across pillars. JRMC is proud to be ranked so highly among the 1,300 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation.
