The Human Resources team at JRMC includes, back from left, Ricki Ramlo, Lindsay Baumgartner, Abby Morken and Carla Hormann.

When you think Human Resources, you may think policies, procedures, compliance and rule followers. You may think payroll processors, project implementers and leaders of change.

All of that is true. But, as human resources professionals, we are the culture within the organization.

The four of us have come from many different backgrounds – from photography to government, to agriculture, to ski lodges, to grain elevators – but the big picture is, we all have one major thing in common… passion for people.

Our backgrounds have led us here. To this moment. Being servant leaders for our employees.

We are the smiling face that greets the nervous applicant waiting for their interview. We are the shoulder to lean on in times of sadness. We are the listeners in times of trouble. We are the friends that celebrate accomplishments. We are the face, voice and attitude of JRMC.

We may not be direct patient care, but our hands heal, too.

We provide recruitment, orientation, training and evaluation that are an important part of our culture. We are employee advocates. We heal interpersonal relationships, self-doubt and miscommunications. We are the educators and the supporters.

We are Human Resources. We are JRMC.
