How you can support our patients and care providers during COVID-19
We’re asking the community to help us face unprecedented challenges.
First of all, thank you for your incredible support of JRMC. Our community hospital can thrive during adversity because of the platform you have established.
We have the right people, technology and innovation in place. The best way you can help our community hospital and most vulnerable patients right now is by following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Financial donations support our ability to respond to this health crisis. The most critical needs are equipment for testing, personal protection for providers and respiratory support for patient care. Your gift will aid in reducing the impact this crisis has on our financial stability and cash on hand. To provide funding for healthcare supplies and equipment, donate here.
- $10 purchases a box of protective masks
- $13 disinfects one patient room with R.O.S.I.E., our germ-zapping robot
- $24 offers 24-hours of care when patients need us most
- $7,000 X-ray stretcher for the emergency room
- $10,000 invests in a ventilator to help patients breathe
To protect our communities from COVID-19, our providers, nurses, respiratory therapists and staff are performing beyond their already extraordinary levels.
To support the needs of frontline caregivers during the COVID-19 fight and in any crisis, JRMC Foundation has an Employee Support Fund. We have received $4,500 in gifts already and the JRMC Foundation is hopeful we will pull together additional donations.
Given this evolving situation, the fund has pledged to be flexible and work to ensure that JRMC employees and families will receive emergency funds quickly and easily.
Please contact Lisa Jackson, JRMC Foundation Director at (701) 253-4806 with any questions.
Supporting our hospital and community families
Community members can make a crucial difference for the brave, resilient families under our care and in the community.
Due to infection prevention concerns, we cannot accept direct material donations (homemade masks, blankets, etc.) at this time. However, we are asking our community to support patients and families in the form of funding so we can still purchase comfort items.
JRMC TeleCare, a free program, provides a simple check-in and friendly phone calls to area seniors or challenged adults who are homebound or isolated. JRMC also offers bus passes and Driven to Care for transportation to and from medical appointments.
Please call Gina Olson, JRMC Volunteer Services & Community Development, at (701) 701-952-4806 to sign-up or make a referral.
