Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) earned the 56th spot on Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare list, climbing 13 places from last year. After receiving notification of the honor in May, JRMC proudly announced its final ranking to employees, patients and the community.
Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work program recognizes healthcare organizations nationwide that foster high-performing, people-centered workplaces. The recognition is based on a rigorous assessment, including confidential employee surveys and a detailed review of organizational policies, benefits and engagement strategies.
“This recognition reflects the incredible culture our team continues to build every day,” said JRMC President and CEO Mike Delfs. “Our employees are the heart of JRMC — they make it a place where colleagues support one another and community feels valued.”
JRMC’s commitment to its vision — to be the best rural medical center in the country for patients to receive care, employees to work and providers to practice — continues to guide every aspect of its operations. The organization’s culture emphasizes teamwork, innovation and empathy, resulting in consistently strong employee engagement.
“Our success isn’t measured only by rankings, but by how our employees feel walking through our doors each day,” said HR Manager Lesley Erlandson. “The results of this recognition reinforce our goal of creating an outstanding workplace culture.”
