The MRI’s spacious design helps reduce feelings of claustrophobia, while a patient-friendly table simplifies movement into the machine. These upgrades are especially beneficial for patients with mobility challenges or wounds, who can now be transferred more comfortably and less often during their visit.
The system also addresses common patient concerns, such as noise, positioning and the sense of isolation during scans. Flexible, lightweight imaging coils conform to the body, eliminating the rigid equipment of the past. Additional features, including ambient lighting, personalized music and a built-in camera, create a more relaxing and connected experience. Technicians can monitor patients in real time, offering reassurance and support throughout the scan.
“This MRI takes patient care to the next level,” said Jeremy Braun, MRI technologist. “With options like ambient lighting, personalized music and shorter scan times, we’re creating a better experience for everyone.”
The new MRI’s advanced imaging capabilities allow for faster, higher-quality scans. Previous systems required up to 40 minutes for high-resolution images, but the new technology completes these scans in half the time. Shorter scan times make the process easier for patients who struggle to remain still and allow the medical center to accommodate more scans in a single day.

Software updates for the lifetime of the machine are included as part of JRMC’s acquisition.
