Progress at JRMC often begins with one thing: meeting our patients’ needs more effectively. Thanks to a $774,500 grant from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust — made possible through the efforts of the JRMC Foundation — JRMC has funded several state-of-the-art, ultrasound systems now in use across anesthesia, emergency, radiology, rehabilitation and our specialty clinic.

Ultrasound is a safe, cost-effective diagnostic tool that helps providers quickly and accurately evaluate a wide range of conditions. With this new equipment, JRMC offers faster, higher-resolution imaging, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for advanced diagnostics.
“This technology allows us to offer more effective, targeted treatments for recovery and pain relief,” said Tracy Anderson, JRMC Rehab Manager. “We’re grateful for this investment to local care.”
This grant is part of a $27.4 million statewide initiative by the Helmsley Charitable Trust to expand access to advanced ultrasound equipment and training in 69 hospitals and health centers across North Dakota — ensuring patients receive the best care, no matter where they live.
