More than 160 women gathered for tea and sandwiches this month, all raising money for a charitable cause.
Jamestown Regional Medical Center’s Auxiliary raised about $2,500 at its Tea for All Seasons on Sept. 12. One hundred and sixty-five women attended the event at Trinity Lutheran Church, one of the event’s best attendances in its 14-year history. Attendees raised more than $2,500. All proceeds benefit JRMC’s Cancer Center.
“We want to thank everyone who attended and all Auxiliary members who helped organize,” said Cindy Grimm, past-president of the JRMC Auxiliary.
Of JRMC’s $1.5 million goal for the Cancer Center, the JRMC Foundation has raised more than $1 million in cash and pledges. Fundraising from the JRMC Auxiliary accounts for about $50,000 of that total.
The JRMC Auxiliary consists of about 40 volunteers who help fundraise for JRMC. The group meets once per month and is always looking for new volunteers. Learn more at (701) 952-4809.
