Modern Healthcare has recognized Jamestown Regional Medical Center as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare for the seventh time in eight years. JRMC is one of only 150 healthcare organizations across the U.S. to receive this honor for 2024.
Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work program is an evaluation that identifies and honors exceptional employers in the healthcare industry nationwide. The rankings are determined through a comprehensive assessment that evaluates each organization’s benefits, employee development programs and workplace policies.

In the seventh year of receiving the award, JRMC continues to look for ways to not take these accomplishments for granted.
“After we won a few in a row, we actually installed a permanent frame on the exterior of the building to hold a banner,” shared Joey Cotton, JRMC Plant Supervisor. “It reminds both our teams and our patients that we take our vision of being ‘the best’ seriously.”
Notably, 80 percent of an organization’s score is derived from employee survey responses, making this recognition a true reflection of employee satisfaction and engagement. JRMC has approximately 365 employees across its main campus in Jamestown and outreach clinic in Carrington.

The award is a testament to that ongoing effort and commitment.”
JRMC will find out their ranking on the Best Places list and be celebrated at the 2024 Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala taking place Oct. 10 in Nashville, Tenn. In the true spirit of a great work culture, JRMC will send two front-line employee representatives to personally receive the award.
