Each year, JRMC Hospice plants a tree in memory of loved ones who have passed.

JRMC Hospice supports individuals and families during the end of life and beyond. The annual memorial service offers community members an opportunity to gather in remembrance. Attendees are encouraged to bring a printed photo of their loved one to display.

“This is an important event for the families we serve and for our team members as we remember loved ones and patients who have passed,” said Maren Radi, JRMC hospice coordinator. “We can be such a grief-avoidant society, but gathering in community can remind us that we are not alone — giving us permission to express those emotions and mourn together.”

A tree will be dedicated and planted in the Kornovich Healing Gardens as a lasting tribute to those being remembered.

JRMC Hospice helps individuals and their families navigate the challenges of the end of life with dignity, comfort and peace. The program provides physical, emotional and spiritual support for patients and loved ones.
