Jamestown Regional Medical Center’s Auxiliary is holding a salad luncheon to support the future of rural healthcare.

The lunch is set for Thursday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church. Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of your favorite homemade salads.

JRMC Foundation Director Lisa Jackson appreciates the resiliency of the JRMC Auxiliary.

“For the past two years, we haven’t been able to host these events. The auxiliary is excited to get back to raising money for the benefit of helping our patients,” she said. The JRMC Auxiliary is $60,000 away from raising $500,000. “They really want to see that happen this year,” said Jackson.

The cost to attend the luncheon is $10 per person. Tickets are available online or at the door.

Auxiliary member Judy Hoyt said the event is an excellent opportunity to connect with friends and meet new connections while eating delicious food and supporting a great cause.

“It feels good to bring these events back since we canceled some because of the pandemic,” Hoyt said. “Thank you to the community for supporting events like these, allowing JRMC to continue offering legendary care to the region.”
