Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is honored to announce the appointment of Derek Schaff, CPA as its new chief financial officer. He is expected to fully assume the role by July 14, 2025.
Schaff brings an extensive background in healthcare financial leadership to JRMC. Since 2018, he has served as the chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Linton Regional Medical Center. “Derek brings extensive experience in healthcare operations and finance, along with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural healthcare,” said Mike Delfs, JRMC president and CEO. “He is an outstanding addition to the JRMC leadership team, and I am grateful for the expertise and insight he brings to our organization.”
As chief financial officer, Schaff will lead JRMC’s financial operations, supporting the medical center’s mission of being a difference in the regional community and its vision of providing patient-focused care with excellence. His appointment reflects JRMC’s continued commitment to recruiting top talent to lead its award-winning organization.
“His leadership will not only strengthen JRMC’s financial future but also ensure we can continue delivering high-quality care to those who depend on us,” said Casey Henderson, chair of the JRMC board. “We are excited for the impact Derek will have on our organization and the broader community.”
