JRMC Emergency Medicine Physician Dr. Steven Inglish received the prestigious Medical Director of the Year Award from the National Disaster Emergency Medical Services Academy, recognizing his outstanding service and leadership as a medical director.

Dr. Steven Inglish of Jamestown Regional Medical Center has been awarded the 2024 NDEMSA Medical Director of the Year Award.
Each year the North Dakota EMS Association recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to the provision, development and improvement to local, regional and state prehospital care.
A medical director whose knowledge and expertise have made significant contributions to the quality of prehospital care in North Dakota is a desired nominee for this award. The intent of the Medical Director of the Year Award is to recognize an EMS medical director who has contributed to the provision, development and improvement of prehospital care and EMS education in the medical director’s communities.
Inglish was recognized for always keeping an open line of communication with the ambulance services that he oversees. He is available for questions at any time and services know they can rely on his knowledge and expertise to help better the care they are providing in the field.
Inglish has been very active with NDEMSA and the southeast region. He has assisted with the Rural EMS Stroke Project as well as presented at the southeast region’s NDEMSA conference.
