Jamestown Regional Medical Center celebrated National Hospital Week from May 11-17. The nationwide observance occurs each May and gives JRMC an extra opportunity to honor and thank employees. This year’s theme for the week was “A Symphony of Compassionate Care,” which was highlighted by musically inspired activities. The weeklong celebration promoted the value of teamwork, partnership and community toward the shared goal of delivering high-quality medical care.

As a leading healthcare provider, JRMC sees that accomplishing its purpose — to exceed expectations and be the difference in the lives of its community — relies on the many unique contributions of each staff member. During National Hospital Week, JRMC acknowledges every role and thanks each person for their dedication to excellence.

“Hospital Week is our chance to pause and recognize the incredible people behind the care,” said Haiden Robbins, JRMC internal communication specialist and chair of the Reward and Recognition Committee. “Each staff member — whether they work directly with patients or behind the scenes — plays a vital part in the harmony of our medical center’s success.”

In celebration of Hospital Week, JRMC hosted daily activities that followed the melodic theme, including games, complimentary meals, treats, movie passes, professional headshots and gift distribution.
