Snoring and sleep apnea impact the quality of life of an individual — and his or her family.
That’s why Ear, Nose & Throat Physician Dr. C.P. Barton III is offering the in-person JRMC U: Snoring and Sleep Apnea on Thursday, Jan. 12.
Dr. Barton joined JRMC in 2022. He has decades of experience, serving babies, children and adults.
He hopes to help people understand why snoring and sleep apnea occur and how they can manage them.
Jamestown Regional Medical Center offers virtual and in-person learning opportunities throughout the year. Called JRMC U, these events help individuals make informed choices about their health.
“We care about this community. If we can offer learning opportunities like JRMC U classes, people can find a home-based solution for their needs. If home remedies don’t work, individuals can at least know what treatment options are available,” said JRMC President & CEO Mike Delfs. “Missing work and life to see a doctor can be a challenge, so we want to remove as many barriers as we can.”
The ENT JRMC U is a chance for people to learn how to make the best decisions for themselves and their families, Delfs said.
