A virtual learning ENT JRMC-U will help parents and grandparents understand more about care for little ears.

Ear, Nose & Throat Physician Dr. C.P. Barton III is offering a Facebook Live at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, answering “Why does my child need ear tubes?”

Dr. Barton joined JRMC in 2022. He has decades of experience, serving babies, children and adults.

He hopes to address indications for ear tubes, treatments, recovery and what happens after surgery.

“One common question is ‘can my child still go swimming?’” Dr. Barton said. “Most of the time, the answer is ‘yes, they can.’”
