Jamestown Regional Medical Center recently announced that JRMC employees selected Sammi Triplett as the most recent Legend Award recipient.
The Legend Award is the most prestigious distinction for a JRMC employee. It recognizes employees who exceed expectations and make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
Triplett is a registered nurse who works at JRMC Home Health & Hospice. Home Health Clinical Coordinator Nikki Mack submitted her nomination.
Mack wrote in her nomination, “She provides care with her whole heart, which is something we should all strive for.”
After recently returning to JRMC, Triplett has found her place in home health. Mack’s nomination describes how Triplett has significantly impacted the lives of her coworkers and patients. Her bedside manner, kindness, gentle humor and words of encouragement make everyone feel at ease in her care. In a healthcare sector that can be particularly difficult for patients, Triplett’s presence makes a world of difference for those she serves.
“Sammi consistently demonstrates dedication, resiliency, and true compassion in every encounter,” said Home Care Director Sharlee Trevithick. “She truly makes a difference each day in our community.”
Honored to receive this award, Triplett shared, “…it reflects on our entire department, as this is the kind of care that all of my coworkers exhibit daily.”
Triplett’s willingness to go above and beyond in every interaction, demonstrating her responsiveness and respect for the needs of each patient, showcases why she is an excellent asset to JRMC and THE difference in the lives of those she serves.
