Sometimes the best medicine is a healthy habit
Jamestown Regional Medical Center has partnered with Two Rivers Activity Center to help participants build their confidence and integrate activity into their lifestyle.
Good Medicine is a supervised clinical exercise program for any individual ready to take smart steps toward a healthier future.
What’s “clinical exercise,” you ask?
It’s exercising with the right kind of medical supervision to ensure that the program is safe and effective. Clinical exercise promotes the right routines and movement to improve your fitness level, but regularly monitors your overall health for any adjustments that may be needed based on the individual’s progress and health status.
MEETING YOU WHERE YOU NEED US
Good Medicine is especially important for persons at risk of or experiencing heart, lung or metabolic diseases like diabetes, including past cardiac or pulmonary rehab participants. But you do not need a pre-existing health condition to make the smart choice for your health and participate in Good Medicine. You simply need the desire to develop healthy habits. Our customized exercise programs welcome you at whatever stage in your wellness journey you may be.
The qualifications of our care team make us particularly skilled at designing exercise programs that support chronic conditions like diabetes or diseases of the heart and lung.
