Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) invites the community to its upcoming JRMC U, “What is non-opioid pain management?” This free educational session will address common questions about managing pain without opioid use.
Led by JRMC’s advanced pain management team, Morgan Croves, DNP-C, and Joe McBeain, CRNA, the event will take place at Two Rivers Activity Center on Thursday, May 7 at 11 am. A free light lunch will be provided.

At the seminar, attendees will learn what chronic pain is, why it occurs and what non-opioid options are available close to home. Pain management at JRMC is unique to the region, offering a level of pain care that would otherwise require travel to Bismarck or Fargo.
“Many people feel like chronic pain is something they just have to live with,” said Morgan Croves. “Our goal is to help the community understand that there are options, and that relief may be closer than they think.”
The presentation will also highlight the noninvasive procedures available through the JRMC Pain Management Clinic, including targeted injections, nerve treatments and nerve blocks.
Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and meet JRMC’s advanced providers.
