Have you always wanted to be in Women’s Health?

I have always wanted to be a nurse, my passion for women’s health developed during my clinical rotation in labor and delivery. It is incredibly rewarding to support women during such a critical time. If you are looking for compassionate care, JRMC is here for you.

What do I need to know about HPV?

HPV is a common virus spread through skin-to-skin contact during sex. It is important to talk to your healthcare provider about your risks and how to protect yourself. JRMC offers guidance and screenings to help you stay informed and healthy.

I'm pregnant! What should I expect in the coming months?

Expect regular prenatal visits to monitor your health and your baby’s development. We are here to support you through every stage of pregnancy. For personalized care, schedule your prenatal visits with me at JRMC.

What kind of preventive screenings do I need and how often?

Pap smears are a key screening for cervical cancer, starting at age 21. Your provider will advise on the frequency based on your health history. Staying up to date with screenings is essential.

I'm experiencing cramping outside of my period. Is this normal?

Cramping outside of your period isn’t uncommon, but its cause can vary. It may not always be related to the uterus. If you’re concerned, consider factors like the severity, history, and nature of the cramping. The JRMC Women’s Walk-In Clinic would be a great source for you.

Where did your passion for Women's Health stem from?

My passion for women’s health has grown from a desire to help others. While I can’t pinpoint a specific event that sparked my interest, I’ve found great purpose in working to enhance the wellness of women over the years. Improving women’s healthcare is a priority for me, and I’m committed to continuing this work through compassionate service and ongoing learning.

What do you love the most about North Dakota?

The people in North Dakota are hardworking and kind, which makes it a special place. And I must admit, I’m a big fan of the blizzards here, especially the ice cream variety!
