Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is proud to welcome Dr. Spencer Arndt, board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon, to its specialty clinic His fresh perspective and insight will bring new energy to JRMC’s podiatric team, where he will join Dr. Rachael Renschler.
Dr. Arndt is from Clemson, South Carolina, and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College at Rosalind Franklin University. He completed his residency at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, a HealthPartners Institute.
Throughout his education and practice, Dr. Arndt found great interest in the areas of reconstructive surgery, diabetic foot care and minimally invasive surgeries. He will be joining Dr. Renschler in offering a variety of podiatric services, including surgical and conservative care such as forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures, bunion and hammertoe corrections, treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and ingrown toenails.
In addition to services offered in the specialty clinic, Dr. Arndt will act as an on-call podiatrist for the JRMC emergency department, providing faster access to podiatric expertise in urgent situations.
“JRMC is a place where I feel like I can make a difference,” said Arndt. “The people here are so welcoming, and the facility is exceptional. I felt immediately at home.”
New to the area, Dr. Arndt is enthusiastic about engaging with the community. Outside of work, he spends his time outdoors hiking, fishing and playing golf. Dr. Arndt is looking forward to trying ice fishing and hunting in North Dakota.
Dr. Arndt’s arrival strengthens JRMC’s podiatry program, giving patients in the Jamestown region more access to advanced podiatric care.
“Dr. Arndt’s commitment to compassionate care and his enthusiasm for helping people make him a tremendous asset to both our clinic and the community,” said Mercede Fiebiger, manager of the JRMC Specialty Clinic. “His fresh perspective and passion complement the experience already present within our team, enhancing care quality and patient outcomes.”
