Life-changing relief is on the way for the region as Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) launches its opioid-free pain management service line in January 2026. Established in partnership with Holistic Pain Management (HPM), JRMC Pain Management will evaluate and treat chronic pain from a variety of conditions through personalized, advanced treatment plans. With clinicians trained extensively in interventional pain management, JRMC will offer a level of care previously unavailable to the region and rare in rural communities.
The clinic will support patients experiencing chronic pain related to arthritis, spine conditions, neuropathy, migraines and post-surgical recovery. As a non-opioid facility, the clinic will provide evidence-based treatment options including collaborative therapies, nerve blocks, targeted injections, non-opioid medication management and other advanced interventional procedures.
“Introducing pain management is a meaningful step in JRMC’s commitment to expanding specialty care in rural North Dakota,” said Mike Delfs, JRMC President and CEO. “We are proud to offer an option that supports long-term health and reduces the burden chronic pain places on individuals and families.”

At their initial appointment, patients will see Morgan Croves, NP, for a consultation in the JRMC Specialty Clinic. Together, they will develop a personalized treatment plan.
Croves brings extensive experience to JRMC, with more than eight years in critical care and pain management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Jamestown and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D.
Clinic leadership emphasized the importance of access and timely care for patients in the region.
“Chronic pain affects nearly every part of a person’s life,” said Mercede Fiebiger, JRMC Specialty Clinic manager. “By offering advanced, opioid-free treatments close to home, we’re ensuring patients can access the care they need without long wait times or long-distance travel.”
In addition to in-clinic care with Croves, patients who require interventional procedures will have access to advanced treatment onsite at JRMC, provided by a CRNA with advanced fellowship training in interventional pain management.
“Access to this level of expertise is uncommon in rural healthcare,” Delfs said. “No patient should be required to travel long distances to receive essential pain treatment. Our partnership with HPM and the addition of a fellowship-trained CRNA ensure that high-quality care is available right here.”
Individuals may schedule their initial consultation directly through the JRMC Specialty Clinic; no provider referral is required.
