Jamestown Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that it has been recognized with two prestigious Women’s Choice Awards®, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in patient care. The medical center received top honors in Obstetrics and Emergency Care, with its overall Emergency Care ranking in the top 2% of 4,675 hospitals offering emergency services.

The Women’s Choice Award® is a trusted honor that reflects patient satisfaction and clinical experience, helping women make informed healthcare choices for themselves and their families. These awards are based on a combination of patient satisfaction surveys, clinical excellence measures and women’s healthcare preferences. JRMC’s Obstetrics recognition—for the second consecutive year—highlights its dedication to providing first-rate maternal care, ensuring the best outcomes for mothers and newborns. JRMC continues to be a trusted leader in maternal care, making it one of the best places to have a baby.

JRMC’s Emergency Care Award underscores the medical center’s commitment to exceptional, timely care in critical situations. With an emergency department ranking among the top 2% in the country, patients can trust they will receive rapid, high-quality treatment when it matters most.

“Receiving these Women’s Choice Awards is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to providing outstanding care to our patients,” said Trisha Jungels, JRMC chief nursing officer. “We are especially proud of our emergency department ranking.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence, JRMC will undergo renovations to its emergency entrance to enhance employee safety, improve access and create a more secure and efficient environment for both patients and staff. Renovations are set to begin in mid-2025, with an expected completion by mid-2026. The medical center will remain fully operational during construction, ensuring that patient care continues seamlessly.

“Our aim is to continuously improve as an organization, particularly in regard to safety,” said Mike Delfs, JRMC president and CEO. “As we move forward with our emergency entrance renovation, we remain dedicated to ensuring both patient and staff safety while continuing to provide the highest quality care.”
