Jamestown Regional Medical Center invites community members to take control of their joint health at the upcoming JRMC U: Your Joints, Your Life, on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Two Rivers Activity Center.
This event will feature JRMC orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael T. Dean, a highly experienced surgeon who has replaced more than 6,000 joints throughout his career. Dr. Dean’s expertise lies in helping patients reduce pain and regain mobility.
During the session, he will share the latest advancements in hip and knee replacement, discussing who can benefit most from these procedures, what to expect during surgery and how to prepare for a successful recovery. Attendees will leave with practical advice on achieving the best possible outcomes.
Since orthopedics became a full-time service at JRMC in 2011, Dr. Dean has been at the forefront, serving as the founding provider. Over the years, he has cared for patients of all ages, specializing in total joint replacements and revisions.
JRMC offers free monthly educational events aimed at empowering the community with the knowledge needed to make informed health decisions.
