In 2009, Daniel Kornovich named JRMC in a bequest to help build the new medical center campus. Because of his wishes and love for the land, the healing gardens are named in memory of Daniel and his parents’ Edmund and Florence.

They offer original sculptures and serene retreats for guests and staff to relax in nature. A walking path surrounding the facility has recently been added.

Legendary medical care is about healing the body, but also touching the heart, the mind and the spirit.

The work of different North Dakota and visiting artists transforms the facility with over 75 pieces photographs, bronze statues, glass and metal sculptures and paintings.

Each piece is handpicked by curators, staff and patients to assemble a permanent healing art collection that reflects our region’s culture, landscape, and heritage. In collaboration with The ArtsCenter in Jamestown, a rotating visiting artists wall highlights new pieces of mixed media available for purchase.
