Jamestown Regional Medical Center welcomes a new Ear, Nose & Throat specialist to its team. The new ENT at JRMC, Dr. Steven Cox offers appointments and surgeries for all ages.
“JRMC is excited to welcome Dr. Steven Cox to our team,” said Trisha Jungels, JRMC Chief Nursing Officer. “We are fortunate to partner with him in the care of our community.”
Dr. Cox grew up in Michigan. He comes highly regarded for his excellent surgical skills. He and his wife have one son. In 2015, he graduated from medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Cox completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in 2020. He has extensive experience with children including work at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Dr. Cox offers advanced techniques in salivary gland care, unique expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of nasal and sinus disorders as well as obstructive sleep apnea surgery.
“My philosophy for patient care is providing a patient-centered approach. I am devoted to providing excellent care to the community.”
Dr. Cox joins the comprehensive speech and hearing team at JRMC, which includes Audiologist Marissa M. Leese, AuD; and Speech Therapist Lauren Burningham. He offers both appointments and surgeries in Jamestown.
“Families deserve the best and they deserve it close to home,” Jungels said.
When the new ENT at JRMC isn’t working, Dr. Cox enjoys biking, running, traveling, college sports and spending time with his wife and their infant son.
